On Friday 9th June, Chestnut class were split in to two groups, and each group went to the forest and sat down by the fire. We carefully listened to Mrs Smith’s instructions and she set us activities. We had a look at what was new, and we played a few games. There was a music triangle that we investigated and played music on, and a few of us drew pictures of bugs and worked as a team making dens. Some of us made a hedgehog home using an old box, wood and a hammer. Near the end of the session, we sat around the fire, and Mrs Smith gave us a marshmallow to roast and made s’mores (marshmallows sandwiched between two chocolate digestive biscuits); they were delicious!
